Days off

Am so glad I didn't cave when they called to see if I could work the weekend. A weekend off is very therapeutic - it has given me a chance to get ahead on my card making......will share - this is one - sentiment is from old set and the flower is from Technique Tuesday set that has proven to be a favorite.

Birthday Card

Today is my future DIL's birthday - made her a card yesterday that took me forever - just one of those crafting days when nothing comes easily - anyway thought I would share it with you - took this scan then decided it needed something so added a flower in the place where a clasp would be to open and close purse - did I scan it after I added the flower? Not!!!!!!!!! So you will have to use your imagination to add the pink flower with green bling centre.

No Card Today

Am on my second day off and enjoying every minute of it - unfortunately the weather is cold but that makes it easier to stay in and craft - have to get ready to make another set of wedding invitations for future daughter in law - she has decided on design - we just need to work on what is going on the inside before we get started the production line. Wondering if I shared my daughter's invitations.....?????? Guess it is safe to do that now with wedding six months past.

A Most Enjoyable Day

Had the day off and decided to make the most of it before working another three - including holiday Monday - Had lunch with some very good friends with whom I went to primary school. Yes still keep in touch after all these years - we were just saying - how is it that one friend's daughter is turning 40 next week - they were all just little kids a short time ago.......

We're having a challenge over on CCB - use something in your "stash" you haven't used embossing folder, stamp.....whatever so here is my creation - new border die from Tim Holtz and a sizzix embossing folder

Michael Strong Valentine challenge

Make valentine card using untraditional colors (no pink or red allowed) so I made this and then realized that although it is untraditional in colors - hello - I used pink!!!! Incidently - the embossed heart stamp (smallest heart was embossed with pink embossing powder - scanner makes it look white!)
