Arthur gets to play with his buttons when his little brother is napping (Lucas still wants to put the buttons into his mouth) - while his usual thing is to sort them according to color - Friday, he started sorting according to shape - then he said to me....."Look Nan, I made a rainbow!"

Had bought a pad of black and white cardstock that I was hoarding because I liked it so much - decided it would make nice cards, etc - thought I would share

Have been having a very good time in my craft room - nice to get back to creating - have some more to do today! Have even used some of the paper I have been hoarding - good on me! What am I keeping it for?????

Cards, cards and more cards

Have struggled getting motivated to get back in my craft room, mostly because it is a mess.....and I am not exaggerating! However our daughter asked if I could make her some generic cards.......that is all I needed. Have made thank you cards (24 - two sets of 12) as gifts and now I have started the generic cards - so far have 24 made - pleased with my progress and the cards - will post pics tomorrow when light is better. By the way craft room still looks like a tip but as I am working - things are getting put away - thank heavens because I have a long way to go before it will look tidy!

Gordon's Second Birthday

Gordon and his parents were in UK with his other grandparents - they celebrated his birthday as all immediate family members were home - his grandmother, Jenny made his cake and his Aunt Sanna and Aunt Jenny decorated it (while he was here in Calgary, he spend a lot of time looking for and finding ladybugs!)

Arthur's 3rd Birthday

Today is Arthur's 3rd birthday - we celebrated yesterday as it was weekend and everyone is available. He wanted a birthday cake with pink icing and the number 1 on it so that is what he and his mom made on Sat. He was delighted to share it with us and was happy with all of his pressies!
