Welcome Zayda!!!!!

Our son and his girl have just adopted a new dog from a rescue organization - guess Zayda was pretty thin when they found her and another dog in a ditch - in need of a lot of love - so Zayda has a new home and no doubt will be loved very much. Here is her picture - my husband and I have also fallen in love with her - she is very gentle and quite well trained considering she is only 5+ months old.

Daughter home from Australia!

Our daughter arrived home for a two week visit on Sunday the 15th of Feb - we knew she was coming for quite some time. She wanted to surprise her best friend for her birthday so we have kept this very quiet. It turned out to be huge surprise - how fun!
We are in wedding planning mode - spring 2010 - date not decided upon - trying to decide on venue - then hopefully details will fall into place. She has her dress but we are now looking for bridesmaid dresses. Have no doubt Ali and her two attendants will look lovely. It is a very exciting time!

Baby Cards and newer cards

a challenge this week is to make different shaped cards - these are two I made quite a while ago with my cuttlebug - still love them!
the other two cards were made using a stamped image I love - had painted these while I was on holiday - put some diamond glaze in the middle and covered with little tiny beads - yellow makes me think of spring and we could use a little of that these days - our temp has dropped and it sure feels like winter again.
