More Martha Stewart Children's cards

Really had a productive day yesterday making children's cards - have decided I will give bundles of these to the LCs (with small children) as Christmas gifts.

Picked some MS cardstock pads (12x12) at Michaels yesterday and made these cards - love how they practically made themselves.... cute children's cards.

Creativecuttlebugger &ScorPalPals mingle cards

These two cards arrived in yesterday and today's mail. Have to wait a whole month for more mingles - sigh! Sheila's card is called a criss cross card - Barb used the pumpkin harvest embossing folder for the background. Thanks ladies!

Same Tree 2 days later

Autumn is arriving quicker than expected - this is the same tree 3 days later! Thought you might like to see my clematis which grows next to our deck - here is the vine and some close ups.

Worked Another Weekend

Yes it was my third weekend in a row - someone needs to tell Mr Duckett, there is a staff shortage, never mind bed shortage!!!
Am supposed to send a criss cross mingle card this week for the ScorPalPals mingle. It took me three tries before I was happy.

Was out in backyard with the dog last night - and realized my favorite tree had turned color - when did that happen!

new cards

Today my hubby and son worked at putting a hot tub in the deck at the acreage - when they were done they drove in and we had supper together. Michelle (DS's SO) and I spent the afternoon making cards. She made four while I only made a couple (her cards are much nicer than mine!).

New Arrivals

My cuttlebug order arrived on Friday - I almost ran home from the mailbox - this has been the best release yet - the borders, combos and A2 embossing folders are all wonderful. Ran each of them through the cuttlebug Friday evening - oh my I am just taken with each and every one of them especially the A2 dies - no words just lots of great shapes, borders and frames.
Have been at work the last two days but have tomorrow off so plan on playing most of the day. Stay tuned for some new cards.

Clean up time

Funny what inspires change!
Was reading about someone moving their craft room....which inspired me ....moved a table which gives me a direct path into my room and the room "works" better. Of course my main work table still hadn't been cleaned since I can't remember when so spent some time sorting through - putting things away.
Is anyone else guilty of saving small scraps of cardstock just in case.....I am so bad for that!!!!
A little furniture moving and a clean surface can make a person enthusiastic about creating.

My SIL in Manitoba belongs to a singing group. Each October they have a Sunday performance combined with a silent auction. I have donated made some card satchels - each containing six cards.
