Well enjoyed the competition for the Trail Master - the artist who won really deserved to win! Guess I am a bit relieved to not worry about the blog being featured on the Magazine - can continue to post personal stuff.
Dinner at Japanese Village was especially good last night - Andy's annual birthday celebration.

Quest project completed
Yesterday decided I had better get my act together and figure out what I was going to do for this last project. I made a list of all the important things in my life. From there I gathered stickers, and anything I could find that "matched" my list but then I had a brain wave......not liking a mix of mediums (I don't do collage very well, correction, I don't do collage at all!)...
Thought maybe I needed to stick with one medium and much to my surprise I had a stamp for every important thing on my list - how amzing is that????????
I took that as a sign. So got to work and stamped each image on light pink cardstock - cut out each using my label nesties and layered them on sheet where I had embossed "wonderful" multiple times. My tag line is I am so lucky, I have a wonderful life.....so thought the word wonderful was very appropriate.
So I am done.....have submitted my project, now I wait. The announcement will be made Monday morning. For something that started more as a project, can't believe the joy this competition has given me. Really don't need to win - my creative muse has returned! For that I am thankful!

My Winnings
Having been lucky enough to survive the first three rounds on the Stamper's Quest Magazine Trail Master competition - thought I would share photos of the stamps I rec'd from the Stamping Studio - a photo stamp of a flower - this scan does not do it justice - just used my black ink pad first inking - think it will gorgeous with a pale green background.
The other images are the ones I rec'd from Stampscapes - was able to chose these stamps - One is Autumn Brook, another Lakeside Cove and the other two are Tree cluster and cloud bits........how lucky am I?
New mingle card and Entry card for SQM contest
Rec'da lovely card from Sharlene who lives in North Bay - she also enclosed many die cuts - most of which I haven't got - how kind!
And finally decided which card I would post for the Stamper's Quest Mag masc card contest. Find out Monday if I made this cut!
Have rec'd the prizes I won for the first three rounds
the first prize I rec'd was a stamp (flower) and some eyelets
the second - a scrapbook kit from club scrap
the third - stamps of my choice from stampscapes
Feeling very lucky indeed. Keep your fingers crossed and I will blog to let you know results of this last round on Monday.

Camera
I found my digital camera - can't believe how relieved I am! Where was it you ask? On the floor behind the passenger seat in my hubby's car - probably put it there thinking I might need it to take pictures when we went to the acreage!
I honestly think I have a guardian angel sitting on my shoulder!!!!!

New Nesties Storage Solution
I am a very visual person - and I find if I can't see it - it doesn't get used - so with that in mind I wanted something for my nesties and went on the search - found this idea here:
http://forums.cornishheritagefarms.com/pp/showphoto.php/photo/18383/limit/www.ellenhutson.com
So went to my local Walmart in the children's craft section and found packages of two magnetic sheets (sticky backed) - came home and "stuck" them to my bulletin board - used three packages - hung my bulletin board and voila - instant art!!!!
On a side note am using my nesties more now that they are out in the open - and have decided to keep my old system magnetic sheets in CD holders for when I travel.
Thank you Sandy for bringing your camera and taking this photo - have misplaced my digital camera - not sure where but it is here somewhere!!! (I hope!!!)
